Yesterday morning, Ben was cutting cheese w/ a cheese slicer at the kitchen table: "When I was two, I couldn't cut cheese. Now that I'm three, I can cut the cheese mySELF!" After a pause, he adds, "Mommy, thank you, for cutting cheese for me when I was two, before I could do it myself."
I love you, Ben! And, while you've definitely developed selective hearing now that you're three, I absolutely love having a three-year-old who can do so much and make such great conversation!
